This document serves as the Health and Safety Policy statement for Lloyd Concrete Co. Ltd, aligning with Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. Our commitment is to reasonably ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all employees and others affected by our activities. Recognizing the pivotal role of effective policy and organization in successful health and safety management, we pledge to:
Continuously assess and adjust health and safety standards.
Implement the company’s health and safety policy across all operations, adapting to new circumstances.
Provide safe workplaces, systems of work, plant and machinery, material handling, safety equipment, and necessary information, instruction, training, and supervision.
Allocate adequate finances and resources to meet these needs.
Management considers the promotion of health and safety a shared objective among themselves, employees, and subcontractors. The organization is committed to preventing personal injury, property damage, and safeguarding everyone, including visitors and the public associated with our activities.
Under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, all employees have duties and will be informed of their responsibilities to prioritize their safety and that of others. Cooperation with the company to comply with legal requirements and implement this Policy is emphasized.
Regular consultations with the workforce will be conducted to consider various viewpoints and recommendations. A systematic approach to hazard identification, risk assessment, and communication of control measures will be maintained to ensure a safe working environment. The company views health and safety legislation as the minimum standard, expecting management to achieve company goals without compromising health and safety.
